Fossil Fish Fishing Trip

My daughter took me on a fishing trip about a week and a half ago, to Kemmerer, WY, at Fossil Lake Safari, where we dug for fish on the site of a 400-million-year-old lake bed!

Believe it or not, I actually caught the one in the picture above. He’s really small, but thankfully, there’s no size limit on fossil fish.

While we were sitting there, splitting rocks, and having a  blast digging for fish, I thought to myself just how much time and work it took for the Lord to get Earth ready for Heavenly Father’s children.

Scientists estimate it took 4.6 billion years, can you imagine it?

We are so loved by God and Jesus Christ!
